The Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders are a squad that
represents the Vikings on and off the field. The sqad consists of thirty-four woman who are trained in all areas of dance and
cheerleading. In 1984 the Vikings organization introduced the MVC. Over
600 women auditioned but thirty-six made the quad. Sue Anderson Franks
was the director for the inogural year and then seven more to come.
Mary Ann Dallas took over as director in 1990 and held the postition
until 1997. In 1998 Tami Krause began her career as the MVC Coordinator
and Director. The MVC makes many appreances throughout the year at
varias locations, including Mexico.
